1½ pounds fresh or frozen green beans
2 tablespoons butter
2½ tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Steam or blanch the green beans until crisp-tender. Drain. Heat butter and olive oil in a frying pan. Add garlic and sauté one minute, add pepper. Add green beans to pan and stir to coat. Remove from heat and sprinkle liberally with Parmesan cheese.

Corn & Bean Casserole
1 can shoepeg corn
1 can french cut green beans
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
Mix the above ingredients together and put into a baking dish.
Mix together 1 tube Ritz Crackers crushed and 1 stick melted butter. Spread over top of the vegetables. Bake 350° for 30 - 45 min.
